McTear (RPM)  is the founder and owner of RPM Picture & Sound.  Throughout his twenties Ryan lived and worked between Los Angeles, Barcelona Spain and Bologna Italy always immersing himself in his music and short films by night while working for various networks and studios by day.   After years of mastering his crafts, Ryan ultimately settled in Los Angeles and began building the foundations of RPM Picture & Sound.  Today, he is known to his colleagues for being as good-natured as he is talented.  Ryan is also fluent in both Spanish and Italian which comes in handy an ever more globalized media world.

In his career Ryan has worked in many notable companies including TBWA\Chiat\Day, Mediapro (Spain), NBC Universal’s Esquire Network and E! Brian McTear is the broadcast mixer, Sound designer and Music Supervisor at RPM Picture & Sound. He is an expert in all broadcast audio standards, and eager to solve any challenge, big or small.

In his other life, he is not only the creator of Shaking Through, a documentary video series produced by his nonprofit organization, Weathervane Music, but also a respected indie-rock record producer. McTear is the owner of Miner Street Recordings, the fabled Philadelphia studio where he has made seminal recordings with artists like The War on Drugs, Kurt Vile, Sharon Van Etten, Dr. Dog and countless others.
Brian works in Avid Pro Tools, Logic and Abelton Live. He has expert command of Izotope RX Post Production Suite, and Waves Restoration Plug-ins to clean-up and output even the most problematic audio to top of the line broadcast standards.
